Who We Are
The International Center for Advanced Research and Training (ICART) was established in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo, in 2013. In a region where communities persistently endure the collateral effects of war, the establishment of a research center is essential to examine the experiences of populations affected by the atrocities of conflict, facilitate a deeper understanding of the factors contributing to community challenges, and contribute to the development of effective solutions, particularly by leveraging the documentation provided by the Panzi Foundation (FP) and the Panzi Hospital.
ICART was established in response to the aftermath of war in the region that focuses on research and training
